Rabbi’s Shmooze
There is a well known teaching that all Jews, regardless of how far they think they have given up on Judaism and Torah, they are still connected to G-d, His Torah, and their Jewish brothers and sisters. This is because we each possess a spark of G-d that is identical to each other and are a part of one whole. Here is a little story that illustrates this.

Two good old friends meet after many years.
"Moshe is it true you stopped keeping Shabbos, Kashrus, Tefilin, etc?"
"Yes it is true."
"How about your belief in Hashem?"
That question Moshe avoids.
The next day they meet again and this time Moshe tells Chaim "By the way I have my doubts in G-d also."
"So why didn't you tell this to me yesterday?"
Moshe responded "On Shabbos?"

Ask a Jew in shul if they believe in G-d. You may get a non-committal answer, Like “This is for the Rabbi”, “Maybe”, “ I am not sure”, or even “Absolutely not”. Ask them why they are in shul. “What do you mean? It’s Yom Kippor today!”

Good Shabbos!

Wipe Out Amalek, Today?
