G. and I were in Jail celebrating Chanukah with the most forgotten segment of the Jewish population in the U.S. Among other prisoners, Two Israelies were there. When we came in with our doughnuts, menorah, dreidels, latkes, etc, they were speechless. One of them told me that he has been there for 3 weeks and missed praying, celebrating Shabbat, and other Jewish things, and they couldn't stop thanking us. The freedom and the ability to practice our religion is something that I often take for granted.
Thank G-d we have the freedom and ability to practice our religion.
Wouldn't you say that this is a very "Chanukah" themed sentiment?
