Federal Judge Honors the Rebbe

Minister of Brazil's Federal Supreme Court Luiz Fuxtold a crowd at a Gimmel Tammuz event that theRebbe had a great impact on his life. Minister of Brazil's Federal Supreme Court Luiz Fux was the guest speaker at an event in Beis Chabad Morumbi, S. Paulo, Brazil, honoring the Rebbe and marking his Yahrtzeit this week. Speaking for the large crowd at Beis Chabad of Morumbi, Fux said the Rebbe made a great impact on him, and said he puts on Tefillin every day, even while he is in court. The Judge then pulled a photo of the Rebbe out of his wallet. In attendance at the event was major philanthropist to Jewish causes, Mr. Elie Horn, who was accompanied by Shliach RabbiDovid Weitman of S. Paulo, Brazil. Rabbi Weitman then addressed the crowd about the auspicious day, and was followed by shliach of Beis Chabad Morumbi Rabbi Dovid Goldberg, organizer of the event, who thanked the Judge and all in attendance for their participation.
